Stream 1- IM/IT Programmer Analyst
As an IM/IT Programmer Analyst, you will be joining an innovative team, working with the latest technology to improve and modernize information management (IM) at ECCC. Our ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, a strong communicator, incredibly curious, and technically capable, with a focus on providing IM solutions for an Electronic Document and Records Management Solution (EDRMS) in support of the Government of Canada's Directive on Service and Digital.

Stream 2- Data Management Analyst
As a Data management professional, you will directly contribute to modernizing the Department's ability to collect, store, analyze and deliver data and support the departments Data and Analytics Strategy and Digital Strategy. You will get the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from all ECCC branches and other government departments as you work to support the delivery of major program initiative in support of departmental priorities."

Stream 3- Business Analyst
As a Business Analyst, you will be given the opportunity to work at the forefront of IM/IT projects with internal technology partners, as well as with ECCC branch clients, in support of established departmental priorities.
In addition, you will contribute to the transformation of the Corporate Services and Finance Branch and support the strategic direction developed from the Government of Canada's Directive on Service and Digital.

Intent of the process

The intent is to create a partially assessed pool with three streams to staff indeterminate Unilingual or Bilingual Imperative BBB/BBB positions.

The pool may be used to staff similar positions with various tenures (e.g. acting, term, assignment, indeterminate, deployment, etc), language requirements/profiles and conditions of employment in the Federal Public Service across Canada.

EDUCATION
ED1: Successful completion of two years of an acceptable post-secondary educational program in computer science, information technology, information management or another specialty relevant to the position to be staffed OR an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience
Notes:
1. Indeterminate period incumbents of positions in the CS group on May 10, 1999, who do not possess the education prescribed above, are deemed to meet the minimum education standards based on their education, training and/or experience. They must be accepted as having met the minimum education standard whenever this standard is called for when staffing positions in the CS group.

2. It is the recognized educational institution (e.g., community college, CÉGEP or university) that determines if the courses taken by a candidate correspond to two years of a post-secondary program at the institution.

3. At the manager’s discretion, an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience may serve as an alternative to the minimum post-secondary education stated above. Whenever the minimum education is met using this alternative, it is met for the specific position only and must be re-assessed for other positions for which this alternative has been specified by the manager.

• Researching and analyzing information to identify IM/IT requirements supporting the elaboration of options analysis

• Collection, analysis, documentation and validation of needs, business, and stakeholder requirements.
• Liaise with stakeholders during preliminary user acceptance testing of new products and services
