Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) helps the Government of Canada serve Canadians. The intent of this process is to establish a pool of partially qualified candidates that will be used to staff identical or similar positions within Public Services and Procurement Canada with various linguistic profiles, various security profiles, various tenure or various locations across Canada.

EDUCATION
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution, with acceptable specialization in physics, geology, chemistry, environmental sciences or some other science relevant to the position.
Note: the courses for the specialization must be acceptable and must have been taken at a recognized post-secondary institution, but not necessarily within a degree program in the required specialization
EXPERIENCE
E1. Experience in supporting the development and implementation of projects or programs in the Environmental or Health and Safety field.
E2. Experience in applying policy and regulatory requirements related to environmental or Health and Safety projects.
E3. Experience in providing environmental or health and safety services to clients.
E4. Experience in analyzing environmental or health and safety related data and in the preparation of technical reports.
E5. Experience in participating in environmental or health and safety related studies or investigations.

ASSET EXPERIENCE
AQ1-Experience in the management of environmental regulated aspects such as: PCB management, halocarbons management, storage tank management, hazardous or electronic waste or wastewater management.
AQ2- Experience in health and safety aspects regulated by the Canada Labour Code such as: indoor air quality, asbestos, potable water, legionella, designated substances, acoustics/noise reduction, radon, or integrated pest management.
AQ3- Experience in the management of sustainable buildings such as: energy efficiency, water conservation, non-hazardous solid waste / recycling, environmental performance of buildings, project management, or life-cycle costing/life-cycle assessment.
AQ4-Experience in conducting environmental impact assessments (EIA) or in the writing and reviewing of EIA reports under the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act (CEAA 2012) or under the Impact Assessment Act (2019).
AQ5- Experience in contaminated sites management such as Phase I, II and Ill, environmental site assessments, risk assessments or remediation.
AQ6 -Experience related to sustainable development strategies.
