What we are looking for:
Public Safety Canada is looking for talented, motivated and strategic minded individuals to work in a variety of corporate services, security, accommodations, corporate governance, and business continuity management positions. As part of the Public Safety Corporate Services Directorate (CSD), you would have opportunities to gain experience in the design and implementation of a variety of corporate programs, contribute to complex departmental initiatives, and support the department through a range of transformative initiatives, business functions and operations.
The Corporate Services Directorate program structure is comprised of multidisciplinary teams that thrive in the high-performing and dynamic work environments necessary to actively manage multiple ongoing priorities and a broad strategic and operational mandate. The CSD work environment fosters strong team chemistry and collaboration which supports the consistent delivery of its program deliverables and operational requirements.

This process aims to fill three positions. However, a pool of qualified candidates may be established through this process to fill identical or similar positions. → ■ EDUCATION:
Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
→ ■ EXPERIENCE:
E1. Significant* experience delivering services in a client service environment.
E2. Significant* experience in editing and reviewing documents and provide quality control of briefing notes and correspondence for senior officials**, ensuring their accuracy and alignment with requirements.
E3. Experience coordinating activities/projects involving multiple stakeholders.
E4. Experience researching, analyzing and summarizing information obtained from different sources and reporting results to management.
*Significant experience refers to the depth and breadth of the experience normally associated with having performed a broad range of various related activities which are normally acquired over a period of at least two (2) years of cumulative experience.
** Senior officials is defines as Director and/or equivalent and above.

EA1. Experience in a Corporate Security Program in at least one (1) of the following areas:
Security risk management;
Corporate / Security planning;
Security Screening;
Physical security;
Business continuity management;
Information management security;
Security event management;
Security awareness and training.
EA2. Experience providing financial analysis and reporting including reconciliation of expenditures and commitments as well as validating financial coding.
EA3. Experience in Accommodations or Real Property Management in at least one (1) of the following:
The development of design space optimization and proposed furniture solution;
Experience working with Auto Cad.
