Agile Project Manager Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to ensure the assigned project or projects are completed on time and that the project's objectives are met. Responsibilities will also include engagement and tasking a group of people to work together to achieve a set of specific objectives. The Project Manager will ensure the desired result is achieved, the most efficient resources are used, and the different interests of parties involved are satisfied. You will need to be proficient in agile product management techniques, such as writing user stories, prioritizing backlogs, developing roadmaps, defining goals and success metrics and reporting against them.
You must be capable to communicate efficiently and persuasively, through a variety of channels with a range of audiences, and explain technical concepts or decisions to technical and less technical folks alike both at the working level and at the executive level.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Engaging a mix of traditional and Agile project management practices to collaboratively plan, execute and control the activities of a project team within scheduled time and cost parameters.
-Facilitate agile processes - backlogs, planning, retrospectives, and demos and co-ordinate effort of the delivery team.
- Facilitates the team's progress toward goals.
- Brief Senior Management and engage with outside stakeholders.
- Assist in the management of changes in business processes.
- Monitor & assess the business case, risks and impact of changes.
- Capabilities to enable accurate estimates to enable planning.
- Ensure all objectives of the project are met.
- Ensure readiness for go-live - including User Acceptance Testing, planning of user training and any changes to the support model.
- Identify gaps in project resource, scope and seek direction as required.
- Co-ordinate the release iterations / deployment plan with the use of DevOps.
- Conduct effective handovers of project implementation to Programs.

EDUCATION:
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in a related field (such as: computer science, information technology, information management, communications, business administration, engineering) or an acceptable combination of education/experience
And
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) in good standing.
EXPERIENCES:
1) Recent Experience (within 5 years) in implementation of *complex large software projects by applying Project Management best practices and methodologies.
* Involving many stakeholders, staff, contractors, delivering on implementation of a complex IT/Technical product under tight timelines with shifting priorities.
2) Experience (within last 5 years) briefing senior management on complex initiatives progress, issues management, etc.
3) Experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams.
