Port-Cartier Institution is a maximum security correctionnal facility for men, which is located in Port ‑ Cartier, Quebec.

Intent of the process

The intent of this process is to create a pool of qualified candidates for upcomming openings within CSC, Port-Cartier institution.

Information you must provide

Your résumé.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Education:

A secondary school diploma or a satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

Experience:

• 2 years experience in the last 5 years in material management which includes at least 2 of the following: managing procurement, inventory, shipping and receiving of goods.

• 2 years experience in the last 5 years of customer service.

• Experience of a minimum of 6 months in supervising staff (e.g., personnel management, performance review, working relationship, etc.)

• Experience of a minimum of 6 months in budget management.

• Experience using Microsoft office suite (Word, Excell, outlook, power point).

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

Education:

• Have a post-secondary diploma

Degree equivalency

Experience:

• Experience* delivering home maintenance services.

• Experience* delivering laundry services.

• Experience* using procurement computer software.

• Experience* with correctional environment.

* Experience is a minimum of 6 months in the last two years.

The following will be applied / assessed at a later date (essential for the job)

Bilingual - Imperative (BBB/BBB)
