The Canadian Space Agency is looking for a Developer who will be in charge of updating Drupal from version 7 to version 8.
The main tasks will be to:
• update and migrate the intranet site to Drupal 8, including the adaptation of personalized modules.
• synchronize deployments with the server management team.
• develop a test routine to validate the migration.
• prepare the necessary documentation and scripts for migration and support.
• post-implementation Drupal support.
Please note that the position is located at the following address : John H. Chapman Space Center, 6767, Route de l'Aéroport, Saint-Hubert, Quebec, J3Y 8Y9. Full time telework could be authorized depending on the position to be staffed. Therefore, all applicants interested in this poster are encouraged to apply.
The intent of this selection process is to staff one (1) position for a 12-month period with the possibility of extension. A pool of qualified candidates will be established to staff similar positions (specified period, acting, secondment or assignment).

EDUCATION
Completion of two years of an acceptable post-secondary program of study in computer science, information technology, information management or other field related to the position to be filled.

EXPERIENCE
• Recent* experience building websites or web applications with Drupal.
• Experience with Apache HTTP.
• Experience in using version control systems such as GIT, or TFS.
• Experience configuring and installing applications on servers and integrating these applications with multiple technology and infrastructure components.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as JQuery, Dojo, etc.
• Experience with Drupal 8.
• Experience in migrating a site from Drupal 7 to 8
*Recent experience is defined as experience that has been obtained within approximately the last five (5) years.

EXPERIENCE
• Recent* experience in interpreting and applying Government of Canada web standards to websites (WET, WCAG AA).
• Experience with WXT Drupal distribution.
