Education:
ED1. Graduation with a degree from a recognized university with acceptable specialization in human resources management, labour or industrial relations, psychology, public or business administration, organizational development, education sciences, social sciences, sociology, or in any other field relevant to the work to be performed
Indeterminate incumbents of PE positions and of positions in the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions and in Indian Oil and Gas Canada that are equivalent to PE positions on October 1, 1999, who do not possess the education level prescribed above, are deemed to meet the minimum education standard based on their education, training or experience. They must be accepted as having met the minimum education standard whenever this standard is called for when staffing PE positions and positions in the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions and Indian Oil and Gas Canada that are equivalent to PE positions. This note also applies to persons appointed or deployed, for an indeterminate period, to PE positions after that date as the result of staffing transactions started before October 1, 1999. The positions in the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions and in Indian Oil and Gas Canada that are equivalent to PE positions are those that meet the Treasury Board definition in the PE Classification Standard.
Experience:
EX1. Significant experience* in working with teams or organizations as a facilitator or OD practitioner to assess team dynamics or organizational culture, including providing guidance based on organizational development expertise and developing recommendations and proposed actions towards desired outcomes/behaviours alongside client stakeholders.
EX2. Significant experience* in facilitating engagement sessions to gather qualitative data from groups, including analyzing/synthesizing resulting data (independently or collaboratively) to prepare reports and deliver presentations to management and stakeholders.
EX3. Experience developing and leading execution of project plans, including engaging partners and/or a working group/project team, and mapping out related actions, timelines and deliverables related to workplace initiatives.
*Significant experience is normally acquired over a period of approximately two (2) years and more. Candidates should demonstrate the breadth and depth of the files handled.
Asset Education:
AED1. Training specific to Organizational Development through a recognized post-secondary institution or acceptable provider (minimum two or more courses and/or relevant certification).
Asset Experience:
AEX1. Experience delivering Organizational Development services to clients in the federal public service.
AEX2. Experience in facilitating, leading and/or presenting to groups which include senior management (executive levels).
AEX3. Experience in providing alternate dispute resolution or conflict management services.
