The intent of this process is to staff one indeterminate position. A pool of qualified candidates may be created and may be used to staff similar positions within various units and locations with the Department of National Defence.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Education
A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experience
Significant experience in contracting for goods and services. *Significant experience is defined as having performed the duties in a full time capacity for a minimum totalling 1 year within the last 4 years.
Experience in four (4) of the following:
- Preparing formalized written bid solicitations
- Preparing formalized written Purchase Orders (POs)
- Preparing procurement instruments for submission to Public Services Procurement Canada (PSPC)
- Contract administration activities including compliance with terms and conditions
- Awarding contracts/authorizing procurement instruments
- Providing policy advice to senior management
- Experience investigating and resolving contract issues
- Experience with performing audits and contract inspections

Basic Procurement and Contracting Course
DND Contracting in Excess of $25K
Experience:
Significant* experience in contracting for goods and services on behalf of the Federal Government of Canada or a Canadian Provincial Government. *Significant experience is defined as having performed the duties in a full time capacity for a minimum totalling 1 year within the last 4 years.
Experience in performing contracting and procurement functions in the Defence Resource Management Information System (DRMIS).
Experience in performing audit functions for work streams such as contracting, finance or material management.
Experience in raising analytic reports in an enterprise resource planning system such as SAP.
Knowledge:
Knowledge of procurement and supply processes and policies in support of the acquisition of goods and services related to federal contracting.
Organizational Needs:
