The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) is looking for talented and skilled individuals to join our dynamic Human Resources team. We offer a diverse, inclusive, respectful and healthy work environment that offers flexible work arrangements to ensure work-life balance. If you value teamwork, challenging assignments, and are innovative, collaborative, and value high quality service to clients, we want to hear from you!
Successful candidates will need to be organized, demonstrate flexibility, be detail oriented, possess the ability to work effectively with both clients and colleagues and be able to work under pressure. The client group extends across Alberta and the North West Territories and is comprised of both Regular Members and Public Servants.
The changing labour relations environment within the RCMP is resulting in movement of Human Resources Advisors between disciplines and business lines. This has lead to vacancies throughout the various human resources disciplines. We are looking for skilled and experienced Human Resources Advisors to fill the resulting vacancies in Staffing and Labour Relations.
- There will be a written exercise.
- There will be an interview.
- Reference checks will be sought.
- We plan to staff several positions from the pool of candidates established from this process.
The pool of qualified candidates may be used to staff similar positions with various tenures (i.e. permanent or temporary) within the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Edmonton, Alberta.
Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM.
