The position to be filled is located in Gatineau. Therefore, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, work is currently being done virtually until further notice. A telework arrangement could be considered from anywhere in Canada.
The intent of this process is to staff one position at the Public Service Commission(PSC). A pool of qualified candidates may be created to staff vacant positions in the future. Other government departments may use the pool upon approval from the PSC.

Graduation with a degree* from a recognized post-secondary institution.
*Unless it is otherwise specified (e.g., Master’s degree), the term “degree” refers to a baccalaureate as established by educational authorities.
EX1. *Recent and **significant experience in leading all phases (planning, execution and reporting) of audit engagements.
EX2. ***Experience in preparing written materials for management (Director or equivalent level and above) that include advice and recommendations such as but not limited to briefing notes, presentations and reports.
EX3. ***Significant experience in presenting and communicating results to management (Director or equivalent level and above).
*Recent experience is defined as having experience acquired within the last five (5) years.
**Significant experience is defined as the breadth and depth of experience associated with completing the duties of the position for a period of at least four (4) years.
ASSET EDUCATION
• Recognized professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CGA, CMA).
• Recognized internal audit certification such as, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Government Auditing Professional (CGAP).
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
• Experience in internal audit professional practices.
• Experience in supervising or coaching employees
• Experience in performing internal audit quality assurance or quality reviews.
• Experience in providing support services to an Audit Committee.
• Experience in liaising with departments, agencies or external organizations.
