Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience related to the position.
EXPERIENCE
Experience in metal cutting, sign writing and engraving.
Experience in the use of computer systems and software (for example: Windows operating platform, Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word).
KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of engraving techniques, equipment and materials.
Knowledge of vinyl cutting equipment, programming and material.
Knowledge of Health and Safety codes and standards
ABILITIES
Ability to communicate effectively orally.
Ability to communicate effectively in writing.
Ability to manage employees and their workload.
Ability to interpret sketches.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
Experience using at least once of the following graphic design software: Adobe Photoshop, or Adobe InDesign, or Adobe Illustrator, or Autodesk AutoCAD software.
Experience using Computer Numerical Control (CNC ) equipment.
Experience operating heavy equipment such as: forklift, mobile crane and small engines.
Knowledge of the Federal Identify Program (FIP).

Willingness to accept occasional exposure to disagreeable and difficult working conditions and extreme weather conditions.
Willingness to work overtime as required.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Secret security clearance. This factor is not used at the preselection stage. The hiring department is responsible for the security clearance process.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s licence.
Must comply with all safety requirements and regulations re: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety training
