As a Performance Measurement Analyst, you will work in a great team on a mix of short, medium, and long-term assignments. You will learn about how WD’s work influences and improves western Canada’s economy. You will support the development and coordination of planning, reporting, performance measurement, and evaluation products for internal and external audiences. You will help prepare briefings and reports for senior management, the public, and Parliamentarians such as Program Evaluations, the Departmental Plan, the Departmental Results Report, and the Departmental Results Framework.
Western Economic Diversification Canada develops the economy of western Canada by delivering grants and contributions programs to businesses, communities, and not-for-profit organizations. WD also advocates and does policy work on behalf of the West.

Education:
• Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in economics, sociology or statistics.
Candidates must always have a degree. The courses for the specialization must be acceptable and may have been taken at a recognized post-secondary institution, but not necessarily within a degree program in the required specialization. The specialization may also be obtained through an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experience:
• Experience writing or editing documents for senior management.
• Experience in business planning, reporting, performance measurement or evaluation.
• Experience with databases, advanced Excel, or applications such as Power BI.
Asset Qualifications
Education:
• A master’s degree with acceptable specialization in a field relevant to the position.
Experience:
• Depth, breadth, and scope in any one or combination of the experience factors.
• Experience in government planning, reporting, performance measurement or evaluation.
