Maintenance and Operational Assurance is a client centric team that is focused on delivering excellent real property maintenance contracting and technical advice. Through the provision of maintenance contracting and technical services, MOA supports PSPC real property professionals in understanding the complexity, liability and technical requirements of maintaining the systems that are vital to their ability to provide Public Service employees with a functional, safe, healthy, productive and cost effective workplace experience.
We provide total quality and contract management services for multiple technical disciplines; mainly Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Vertical Transportation, Building Services and Horticulture. We are the technical authority for long term maintenance service contracts supporting PSPC managed facilities and other government department managed facilities ensuring work is performed in accordance with national and provincial codes/regulations, Departmental standards/policies , contract terms and conditions.
This process may be used to staff similar positions within Public Services and Procurement Canada in the National Capital Region with various linguistic profile and various security requirement.

A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experience
Experience in service contract administration or supervision
Experience in providing recommendations and advice to clients or management related to building services.
Experience with resolving problems with regards to contractual agreements or project delivery
Experience in using computer software for tracking and compiling data.

Post secondary diploma/degree in a field related to the role
Experience in maintenance contract administration related to building services.

There is a daily requirement to visit work-sites which involves walking, climbing stairs, ladders and platforms to inspect projects.
