This process will be used to staff entry level administrative support positions within the Royal Canadian Mounted Police within the various offices located in Edmonton and Edmonton Metropolitan area.

Possible positions to be staffed from this process:
• Informatics – IT Assets Management: assists with logistical arrangements, such as travel/accommodation and meeting facilities; prepares, transcribes and processes a variety of correspondence, reports and documentation; receives, prepares and distributes mail; provides reception services, referring callers and issues to the appropriate area; conducts photocopying/scanning activities; maintains office equipment.
• Financial Services Administrator - Challenges, reconciles and verifies, by applying the applicable directives and policies, the accuracy and validity of invoices and other payment requests such as interdepartmental settlements submitted by RCMP managers with delegated financial authority, and expense claims submitted by RCMP employees; transmits to PWGSC for payment or prepares and issues cheques and codes and inputs expenditure data into the SAP/TEAM financial system and receives, researches, analyses and responds to enquiries from vendors.
• Procurement Clerk - Provides information and assistance to stakeholders, managers, employees, internal/external partners, clients, and/or colleagues by performing a full range of duties: explains processes and procedures including regulations; responds to inquiries; educates on the organization’s service/products. Explains policies, procedures and practices relevant to the Assets and Procurement Management Section; shows other employees how to perform tasks or duties.
• Mailroom/Printshop Clerk - Provides mailing services and printing services to within K Division.
• General Administrative Support Clerk - Provides administrative assistance to Unit Manager, such as: coordinates and schedules appointments, meetings and teleconferences; prepares agendas and summary minutes; monitors and follows up on the status of initiatives and activities; conducts research and preparing reports, returns and correspondence.

RCMP Security Clearance
Successful applicants will be required to obtain and maintain a RCMP Security Clearance throughout their employment. Positions filled will have one of the following security clearance requirements: RCMP Enhanced Reliability Status, Secret or Top Secret. This requires a security/reliability interview, and a field investigation in matters of criminal activities, credit/finances, education, employment, references, etc.
