Duties

Providing information and options to clients to assist in their compliance with or to understand financial, or human resource, or procurement or administrative processing requirements and to resolve problems of routine to moderate difficulty involving, for example, incaccurate coding, guideline non-compliance, inadequate/unclear support information.
Receiving action/transaction requests, verifying requests for narrative/quantitative content and guideline compliance, and applying codes.
Entering information into automated systems, conducting quality checks of entries and data base reports.
Extracting and manipulating automated information, preparing routine and non routine information for reporting and tracking purposes.
Contacting external service providers to exchange information on the nature/scope of services/goods.

Intent of the process

This anticipatory process may be used to establish a pool of qualified candidates, in each stream, which may be used to fill similar or equivalent positions with various tenures, linguistic profiles and security.

In the event that an employee of the public service is qualified through this process, and there is a temporary need, he/she may be considered for acting, deployment, assignment or secondment opportunities. You would be required to provide approval from your manager.

Experience using a telephone console.

STREAM 2: Financial clerk
Experience processing travel requests with HRG’s SVP travel tools.

STREAM 3: Human Resources Assistant
Experience working with Phoenix.
Experience using a human resources information management system (e.g. PeopleSoft 8.9 or greater);

STREAM 4: Storekeeper
Experience in inventory maintenance.
Experience with SAP accounting software
