We are committed to providing an inclusive and barrier-free work environment, starting with the hiring process. If you need to be accommodated during any phase of the evaluation process, please use the Contact information below to request specialized accommodation. All information received in relation to accommodation will be kept confidential.
When you apply to this selection process, you are not applying for a specific job, but to an inventory for future vacancies. As positions become available, applicants who meet the qualifications may be contacted for further assessment.
// What is an inventory? //
When someone applies to an inventory, the Jobs.gc.ca system will automatically screen you in the inventory if you answer yes to all essential experiences and education. When the system retrieves your application in the inventory, it will randomly choose applicants with a screened-in status. If and when an applicant is randomly chosen through the request from the hiring manager, they will assess each of your answers on how you meet the experiences and education. With this specific inventory, you are eligible to be reassessed after six months, allowing you to update your answers and add information at any time. Please note you are not applying for a specific job but to an inventory for future vacancies. As positions become available, applicants who meet the qualifications may be contacted for further assessment.
IMPORTANT: Management can decide to access applications at any point, so please ensure you submit your application as soon as possible.//
// How can you apply? //
We are taking a simplified approach for you to apply to this process. To apply for this process, you will need to:
• provide your resume (no cover letter needed) and
• answer a questionnaire online
Note: Applications submitted by email will not be accepted unless accommodations are needed.
When you apply, you will be asked a series of screening questions based on the education and experience criteria below. When answering the screening questions, it is very important to provide the following information:
1. The name of the employer, where and how you gained the experience
2. Title of the position occupied and how long you exercised the functions and
3. Specific details related to tasks, projects, or accomplishments that demonstrate how you gained the experience.
DO NOT assume that the screening board has any previous knowledge of your qualifications. You must be specific and provide concrete examples/details for each experience & education criteria, as applications will be screened based on the information you provide. Please note your resume will not be consulted for missing information in your application.
