EDUCATION:
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in nutrition, dietetics or home economics.
EXPERIENCE:
E1: Recent* and significant** experience working in public health nutrition
E2: Recent* and significant** experience analysing nutrition research for application into policies, programs or initiatives
E3: Experience formulating and providing strategic advice to management
E4: Experience developing and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders
E5: Experience managing major*** projects
NOTE:
* “Recent” is defined as normally having been acquired within the past 5 years
** “Significant” is defined as normally having gained at least 3 years of experience working on a broad scope of public health policies, programs or initiatives
*** In demonstrating “major”, the example provided by candidates must meet at least three of the following criteria: be national or regional in scope; include the management of financial resources; be multi-year in terms of duration; have public visibility; include the involvement of multiple partners or stakeholders; require the management of unforeseen challenges or shifting priorities

ASSET EDUCATION:
Graduation with a Masters’ degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in nutrition, public health, community nutrition or related human nutrition or other discipline relevant to the position.
ASSET EXPERIENCE:
AE1: Experience in the development of policies with diverse partners, organizations or sectors related to nutrition
AE2: Experience contributing to the planning and implementation of health promotion programs with Indigenous People and/or Indigenous communities
AE3: Experience contributing to the planning and implementation of health promotion policies, programs or initiatives as it relates to nutrition
AE4: Experience analyzing and interpreting nutrition related data and basics statistical analyses
AE5: Experience writing scientific reports or papers
ASSET KNOWLEDGE:
AK1: Knowledge of current health issues in First Nations, Métis, and Inuit populations as they relate to food and nutrition
