During the pandemic, depending on the position to be staffed, employees may be required to work exclusively from home or employees may be required to work from an assigned workplace. However, telework will continue to be part of a flexible work arrangement that may be available to you.

The intent of this process is to staff positions with various tenures at the CR-04 & CR-05 level within Census, Regional Services, and Operations Field of Statistics Canada. In addition, a pool of partially qualified candidates may be established and used to staff similar position with various tenures, security requirements and linguistic profiles, across Statistics Canada.

EXP1. Experience performing clerical activities related to the planning, development, testing, collection and\or processing of various statistical data. Examples may include data capture, registration activities, human resource or finance related tasks, client services, survey operations, conducting interviews, editing of survey data, enumeration tasks, etc.

Ability:
A3 - Ability to communicate effectively orally.
Education:
AEDU1: – At least 2 years of a postsecondary diploma or a degree in Administration or Human Resources Management, Social Science or in a Business or Finance Field
Experience:
AEXP1 – Experience in working with Census or another Statistics Canada survey
AEXP2 – *Significant experience working with Microsoft Excel developing spreadsheets using formulas
AEXP3 – Experience working with Microsoft Office in at least two of the following: Word/Access/Outlook or PowerPoint
AEXP4 – Experience performing data entry or coding/classification
AEXP5 – Experience using online collaboration tools such as but not limited to: MS Teams, GcDocs, Confluence, Jira, Big Picture or Service Request Management (SRM (Heat).
AEXP6 – Experience in data quality assurance or quality control processes
AEXP7 – Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
