Intent of the process

A fully or partially assessed pool may be created and may be used to staff similar positions with various linguistic requirements, tenures and security clearances within the Administrative Tribunals Support Service of Canada (ATSSC). All other federal organizations listed in Schedules I, IV and V of the Financial Administration Act (FAA) may use this selection process to appoint a candidate to a similar position within their organization.

EDUCATION

A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE

Recent and significant* experience using Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel and Outlook.

Experience using a case management or information management system.

*Recent and significant experience means depth and breadth of experience normally associated with the performance of duties over a period of 12 months within approximately the last 36 months.

EDUCATION

Successful completion of two (2) years post-secondary education, or more, from a recognized educational institution (e.g. community college, CEGEP, university) in a field relevant to the position.

Experience preparing written reports or correspondence.

Experience dealing with senior managers or magistrates in writing and orally.

Experience in applying operational procedures in a work environment.

Experience in coordinating events such as travel arrangements, booking meeting space and virtual meeting or interpretations services.

Experience in analyzing documents to ensure their compliance.

Experience working in a fast-paced, high volume environment with changing priorities.

Experience working in a legal, quasi-judicial or judicial environment, such as in a tribunal, court, commission, board or law firm or notary office.

Experience in any of the following areas: cultural or heritage field, direct or indirect support of indigenous peoples, domestic or international commerce, human rights, social benefits programs, agriculture and transportation.
