The current need is to staff one position on an indeterminate or temporary basis.
A pool of partially or fully qualified candidates resulting from this process may be established and used to fill similar positions with various tenures, with similar linguistic profiles and security requirements.

Your résumé.
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution from a program in computer systems technology, computer systems technician, computer science, information technology, information management, or other relevant specialty program.
Significant** experience in providing IM/IT advice and guidance to management.
Recent* and Significant** experience in performing Security Assessment and Accreditation.
Recent* and Significant**experience providing security awareness training to the organisation.
Recent* and Significant** experience writing IT Policies and/or IT Guidelines and/or IT Processes and/or IT Reports and/or IT Security Recommendations and/or IT Security Risk Statements.
Successful completion of one or more occupational certifications in the field of Information Security, including:
- Completion of CSE IT Security courses or in possession of CSE IT Security certifications;
- SANS / GIAC certifications;
- Certified Information Security Systems Professional (CISSP);
- Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM);
- Certified Information Systems Auditor Designation (CISA);
- Information Technology infrastructure Library (ITIL);
- Any other professional certification held with good standing that is relevant to this position.
Experience acting as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) role in the Federal Government of Canada.
Experience working with Government of Canada classified systems.
Experience managing and/or supervising employees.
Experience working with Check Point Firewalls or other firewall technologies.
Experience working with Forescout or other Network Access Control solutions.
Experience working in an IT Security Operations Center.
Bilingual - Imperative (CBC/CBC)
