Assessment accommodation

This position is located in Toronto, however, the successful candidate may work from Toronto office or Ottawa office.

Duties

IT Audit Manager will provide risk-based, independent and objective assurance, advice and insight to OSFI by leading the annual development and execution of the IT audit portfolio, including supporting integrated audits by providing subject matter expertise and testing of controls related to IT risks. The IT Audit Manager will work closely with the business to provide ongoing advice and support on key IT initiatives, and the coordination of the delivery of value-added risk-based audit services.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
• A university degree with specialization in information technology, or other relevant field OR an acceptable combination of education, experience, and/or training.

Degree equivalency

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
• Recent and significant experience in planning, conducting and reporting on compliance, reviews, or advisory engagements of Information Management/Information Technology (IM/IT) operations, systems or IM/IT governance, risk management and control practices.
• Recent and significant experience in developing and maintaining the IM/IT audit universe and corresponding risk-based audit plan.
• Recent and significant experience in audit activities associated with network security.

• A post-graduate degree.

• Experience in implementing or maintaining agile audit methodologies for the implementation of continuous audit programs.
• Experience in the use of data analytics to support audit activities including the use of supporting applications such as ACL, IDEA or similar programs.
• Experience in audit activities associated with large enterprise IT implementations.
• Experience in audit activities associated with the cloud environment, including migrations.
• Experience in preparing and presenting progress reports on audit status and management action plan implementations to audit management and audit committee deliverables.
