This process will be used to establish a pool of fully qualified candidates which may be used by PSPC to staff similar positions within the EN-ENG group for levels 04 and 05 and similar positions within the AR group for levels 05 and 06.

EDUCATION
EN-ENG-04 & EN-ENG-05
-Graduation with a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in civil engineering, environmental engineering, mining engineering, geological engineering or some other engineering specialty relevant to the duties of the position.
AR-05 & AR-06
-Graduation with a degree in architecture from a recognized post-secondary institution.
You must be prepared to provide the original or a certified true copy of your educational credentials. Candidates with foreign credentials must provide proof of Canadian equivalency. EXPERIENCE
ENG-04 and AR-05
E1. Experience in project management related to planning and development or construction of buildings or engineering assets.
E2. Experience with procurement processes for consultants and/or construction services and/or experience with contract management related to real property projects.
E3. Experience in managing quality, finances and schedules with contractors, consultants, and/or project team members.
E4. Experience collaborating with various stakeholders.
ENG-05 and AR-06
E1. Five (5) years of complex* project management experience related to planning and development or construction of buildings or engineering assets.
E2. Experience in leading multi-disciplinary project teams (including managing internal resources, consultants or contractors).
E3. Experience with procurement processes for consultants and/or construction services and/or experience with contract management related to real property projects.
E4. Experience in establishing and maintaining partnerships and collaborating with provincial, territorial or municipal governments, regulatory agencies, non-governmental organizations, industry, other federal government departments, or international organizations.
E5. Experience in providing guidance, strategic advice, or briefings to senior management, clients or other important stakeholders (Director level or above) on complex* projects. This includes the preparation of presentation material, reports, or briefing notes.
*Complex projects must include 2 or more of the following characteristics: large number of stakeholders requiring governance and communications, multidisciplinary consulting team, interrelated dependencies with other projects or programs, alternative form of delivery, or approvals required from Central Authorities (such as Treasury Board or a Board of Directors or equivalent in the private sector).

EDUCATION
Registration as a Professional Engineer in Canada
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Eligibility for certification as a professional architect in Canada.
EXPERIENCE (all groups)
AQE1. Experience in federal project delivery subject to federal acts, regulations, codes and standards.
AQE2. Experience in contaminated sites remediation projects.
AQE3. Experience in mining projects or mine closure / reclamation projects.
AQE4. Experience in construction and/or engineering projects in a northern climate.
AQE5. Experience working with Indigenous groups and/or northern communities.
KNOWLEDGE
AQK1. Knowledge of contaminated site remediation and reclamation methods and processes.
AQK2. Knowledge of mining dam design, construction, management, and closure.
AQK3. Knowledge of dam safety measures.
