The projected start date is June 21, 2021 with an end date of August 31, 2021 (or depending on the candidate's availability or needs) with possibilities of extension. It is expected that the student will work 35 hours per week.
$15.40 to $33.58 per hour ($15.40 to $33.58 (College: $15.40 to $20.62, Bachelor: $16.49 to $24.77, Master: $22.04 to $27.73, Doctorate: $25.94 to $33.58) - varies as per level of education and experience.)

• Contributing to scientific hypothesis building and design of experiments centered around rematriated Iinnii on Blood Tribe lands.

The Iinnii Rematriation Project is a culturally important process undertaken by members of the Kainai/ Blood Tribe. This project led by the Kainai/ Blood Tribe presents opportunities to monitor the impact of bison on native prairie plants, animals, and soils. Student work will focus on monitoring, sampling, and data collection in relation to Iinnii Rematriation.

Education:
Currently enrolled or willing to enroll in College, Bachelor’s or Master’s or PhD program at a recognized post-secondary institution.

Degree equivalency

Experience:
Experience in familiarity with cultural or spiritual traditions of the Siksikaitsitapi /Blackfoot People.
