Duties

Stream 1 (Project Officer)
The Requirements program ensures fleet operational requirements are defined and established. In particular, the program ensures that the update and replacement of fleet assets is done so as to support investment processes and, in addition, to see that future and interim vessels meet operational requirements in order to facilitate program delivery.

Stream 2 (Maximo Champion)
The Canadian Coast Guard has adopted the IBM Maximo Enterprise Asset Management application as its asset management tool to track equipment maintenance and inventory for shore and vessel-based operations. The past 2 years have seen increased momentum in implementing the software across the organization, but low user acceptance is an ongoing challenge. Senior management has established a Maximo Task Force to address this issue and other barriers to a successful implementation. The Task Force has developed an action plan which includes a change management strategy and exciting new initiatives such as a mobile solution. Come join the Maximo Task Force to be part of our dynamic team and share in our vision to help inspire change in our organization.
