A secondary school (high school) diploma or an acceptable combination of experience and/or training in a field relevant to the position.
Experience required for Supply Specialist and Supply Team Leader:
E1 - Experience in providing advice and guidance to managers, clients or other stakeholders on procurement in a work environment.
E2 - Experience leading or active participation in multidisciplinary meetings.
E3 – Approximately two years of experience in participating in the planning, execution or management of complex** procurement / contracting activities for construction, goods, or services.
Experience Required for Supply Team Leader:
E4 - Approximately two years of experience in supervising employees (such as having assigned work, reviewed the work of others, approve work produced by others, given constructive feedback, managing workload of others).

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
For Supply Specialist and Supply Team Leader:
AED1 - Graduation with a post-secondary diploma or degree from a recognized institution.
AED2 - In receipt of relevant Professional Certification related to procurement or supply chain management.
AED3 - One of the following: A University diploma or degree related to Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture; OR certification as a Technologist by a professional association; OR certification of competency as a First/Second Class Engineer by Transport Canada.
AE1 - Approximately two years of experience involved with contract management or contract administration for procurement of shipboard products, repair services or support goods/services.
AE2 - Approximately two years of experience as a technical inspector responsible for inspection and acceptance of ship repair work.
AE3 - Project Management experience including, participation in project review meetings, monitoring and negotiating schedules, following progress and performance on major projects or procurement files
