Intent of the process

The intent of the selection process is to staff one (1) temporary Bilingual
Imperative BBB/BBB position with a RCMP ERS with Top Secret security clearance and to create an inventory of qualified bilingual candidates.

This selection process could also be used to staff similar positions of varying tenures, of varying bilingual imperative linguistic profiles within the National Division, RCMP.

Random selection may be used at any time during the process to identify which applicants from the inventory will be assessed.

Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM.

Information you must provide

Your résumé.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Successful completion of two years of secondary school or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience

Degree equivalency

Experience in procurement : acquiring quotes, processing orders and receiving goods

Experience providing customer service in a warehouse setting

Experience in using computer software applications, such as but not limited to: MS Word, MS Excel and/or MS Outlook

Experience with inventory control : maintaining stock of supplies and equipment

The following will be applied / assessed at a later date (essential for the job)

Experience using material management systems such as: Systems Application Products (SAP)/BassetPro

Experience working in a warehouse for at least six (6) months during the past five (5) years

Experience using computerized warehouse and inventory management systems

Willingness and ability to work variable 10 hour shifts (days, evenings, nights and weekends).

Must be able to lift 20kg in accordance with safe lifting practices

Willing and able to work overtime, as needed, sometimes on short notice

Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
