• Data Engineer - Architect
Our data engineers know data inside-out. You analyze, design, and implement data structures, processes, and best practices to support our core business while ensuring compliance with data and security policies. Your focus is on maximizing quality, performance/throughput, and traceability while minimizing barriers to analysis for our end-users.
• Business Transformation Architect
You will build and maintain strong relationships with business partners, while supporting the StatCan’s analytics and diversification capabilities and ensuring delivery of high-quality analytic solutions for the diversification project. This role requires you be an experienced leader with deep hands on experience in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and customer analytics. With extensive experience in reviewing existing analytic processes, performing statistical analysis to identify best practices and opportunities for improvement and diversification, and mentor team members.
• IT Project Manager
The IT Project Manager requires skills in leadership and negotiation, applied knowledge of; project management theory, portfolio management principles, best practices and techniques used for managing IT projects. You will plan and execute projects ensuring proper management of communications, resource, staffing, scope, schedule, cost, risks and issues.
• Senior IT Project Manager
Organizes and manages projects and assists the business in understanding their common information objectives and assists them in planning how to achieve these objectives. Assists the business in achieving a consensus on any disagreements so that it has a strong basis for future action. The successful candidate should be able to provide direction for statistical analysis, processing and development of new methods for analytical diversification and manage several sub-projects, each responsible for an element of the enterprise project by applying sound project management and agile techniques. Developing and reporting on plans to diverse audiences including senior management.
A pool of partially qualified candidates may be established from this process to staff CS-02 or CS-03 and equivalent positions within Statistics Canada across Canada. This process may be used to staff positions of various tenures, language requirements, security profiles and various work locations.

- Successfully completed two years of an acceptable post-secondary educational program in computer science, information technology, information management or another specialty relevant to the position to be staffed.
