Intent of the process

A partially assessed pool may be established through this process to staff identical or similar positions within the Department with various language requirements and various security requirements. This pool may be used to staff positions either in Gatineau or Ottawa.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

HOW TO APPLY?
At the time of your application, you will be required to complete an on-line questionnaire. You will have to answer the questions by providing concrete examples to clearly illustrate with sufficient details how you meet all requirements listed in the essential qualifications (education, experiences, knowledge, abilities, competencies and personal suitabilities).

For each experience criteria, you will have to provide the following mandatory information:

A) Provide 1 to 2 paragraphs demonstrating that you have the required experience and ensure to provide concrete, clear and detailed examples;
B) Indicate the period(s) in which you performed the functions;
C) Indicate the position occupied and for which company, organization or department. For experience within the Public Service, you MUST indicate the group and level i.e. PM-02.

There will be no exam. The answers provided at the time of application will be used to evaluate you. It is your responsibility to provide concrete examples that clearly illustrate that you meet all the requirements set out in the essential qualifications.The information given could be validated with references. An informal interview may by administered to determine the right fit for the position to staff and validate your ability to communicate orally.

EDUCATION
EDU - Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and /or experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE
EX1 - Experience in analysing, interpreting, researching and reviewing sensitive information, within the formalized ATIP for the purpose of making disclosure recommendations based on the provision of the Access to Information Act and Privacy Act, or provincial freedom of information (FOI) legislation.
EX2 - Experience with APCM and Redaction.

KNOWLEDGE
K1 - Knowledge of the roles of the PSPC, Department of Justice, the Privy Council Office and Treasury Board Secretariat as they pertain to Access to Information and Privacy.

ABILITIES
A1 - Ability to set priorities and meet strict deadlines
