Positions to be staffed:

Position 1: Client Guidance Officer, Gatineau
Position 2 (ANTICIPATORY) : Officer, National Course Delivery (title under review), Gatineau, Ottawa, Toronto, Montréal, Québec, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Vancouver, Moncton, Halifax

Duties

POSITION 1: CLIENT GUIDANCE OFFICER

- Providing assistance to clients of the School via telephone and emails for the products offered. This includes but is not limited to:
- Profile creation and maintenance;
- Registration to School products;
- Troubleshooting and navigation;
- Solving technical issues;
- Providing information on the School and the products offered.

POSITION 2 : OFFICER, NATIONAL COURSE DELIVERY (ANTICIPATORY STAFFING)

- Providing coordination, administrative support, and liaison with other teams in the School for cohort learning programs that include a variety of courses or learning activities (e.g. Executive, Manager, and Supervisor learning programs);
- Providing quality administrative and logistical support to assigned learning activities
- Performs tasks inherent to the coordination of virtual or classroom learning activities according to the standards and procedures in effect;
- Preparing and sending communications to participants according to service standards and prepare course materials;
- Producing virtual offerings according to standards, regardless of the platform used (Webex, Zoom or MS Team);
- Following up on the creation, closing and other tasks in the learning management system (ILMS and OMS).

Intent of the process

A pool of fully and/or partially qualified candidates could be established to fill the same or similar positions with various linguistic profiles (bilingual imperative BBB/BBB and CBC/CBC), various locations, various security and operational requirements and various working conditions within the Canada School of Public Service.

The immediate need is to fill two (2) indeterminate, bilingual imperative (CBC/CBC) positions (Client Guidance Officer) in Gatineau.

EDUCATION

A secondary school diploma or *an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

* An acceptable combination would be a completion of a minimum of three (3) years of secondary school and two (2) years of experience in the field relevant to the position to be staffed.

Degree equivalency

COMMON EXPERIENCES
- Experience in the provision of general administrative support.
- Experience in a client service environment.

- Experience using an Integrated Learning Management System and/or learning delivery platforms (Webex, MS Teams, Zoom, etc.)
- Experience in acting as a producer for virtual classroom courses or events.
