The art of storytelling goes back to before the invention of the written word. Stories would be shared and passed down generation to generation to share wisdom and preserve knowledge. On our team, we do the same thing. We bring stories to employees all over the department though our courses, videos, and talks to share knowledge and ideas on important topics such as Mental Health, Indigenous Awareness, Project Management, Transformation, Unconscious Bias and so much more.

Intent of the process

A pool of partially qualified candidates may be established and could also be used to staff
similar positions with various tenures and/or various linguistic profiles within ESDC.

Immediate staffing will be limited to the designated workplace established by ESDC's Human Resources Services Branch, such as: Edmonton, Vancouver, Winnipeg, Fredericton, Dartmouth, Toronto, Gatineau, Montréal Island, Québec.

Our team has been working remotely since March 2020. While we don’t know what our “office of the future” will look like, we do know that remote work works. That means that we may consider candidates outside of the indicated work locations. Education:
• A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives*.

-An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

Experience:
• Recent experience (in the last 3 years) in collaborating with subject-matter experts to design instructional material for adult learners in workplace environments.
• Experience in supporting the creation or maintenance of training material for adult learners in the workplace (e.g., classroom, on-line learning, distance learning, virtual classrooms, etc.)
