A pool of partially qualified candidates may be established within Public Services and Procurement Canada and may be used to staff similar positions with various language requirements and various security requirements.

Education
Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Certification
Valid provincial or interprovincial electrical licence, certification of qualification.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE
Significant experience* in maintaining, modifying, and improving electrical wiring systems in commercial buildings.
Experience in directing and overseeing projects
Experience in the supervision of employees.

*Significant experience is defined as the depth and breadth of experience normally associated with full-time performance of duties for a period of five (5) years or more.

KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code.
Knowledge of electrical safety regulations.
Knowledge of motor control centre panels and control systems.
