Intent of the process

This pool may be used by the Department of National Defence to fill current and future vacancies in various locations with various employment tenures (temporary and permanent), language profiles, security requirements, and conditions of employment.

Education:
Successful completion of post-secondary education specializing in relevant engineering technology or applied science OR an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

*Relevant technical fields include; Architectural, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Structural.

Degree equivalency

Experience:
Experience in providing engineering support services for planning, design, construction, operation or maintenance.
Experience in application of regulations for building systems.

Experience:
Experience in project management.
Experience working in a multi-disciplinary engineering or technical environment.
Experience in drafting.
Experience in preparation of drawings using AutoCAD.

Experience in preparing construction documents for public tender.
Experience conducting inspections for a variety of structures.
Experience in application of regulations for building systems.

Operational requirements:
Willing and able to adjust work schedule to meet operational requirements as required.
