(CR-04) Case & Subject Records Clerk:
The Case & Subject Records Clerk is responsible for analyzing, encoding and filing the documents received while ensuring that they are complete. He/She is also responsible for analyzing, creating, processing and transferring physical and electronic case files. The Clerk will verify the audio recordings. He/She will be responsible for processing mail sent and received.
(CR-04) Case Review Assistant:
The Case Review Assistant is responsible for processing applications, waivers, withdrawals and postponements of parole. The Case Review Assistant is also responsible for forwarding electronic documents to Board Members and the Correctional Service of Canada and for reviewing the reasons for decision, making the necessary corrections in the computer system, as well as finalizing and sharing the decision with the offender. The Case Review Assistant performs a variety of clerical duties, including data entry, compilation of statistics and various administrative services.
(CR-04) Communications Clerk:
The Communications Clerk is responsible for providing services such as: e-mails, phone calls, etc. regarding parole, record suspensions and victim services, as well as coordinating the regional Hearing Observer Program. The Communications Clerk is responsible for maintaining an electronic database of victims, producing and processing statistics coordinated with case files, and distributing public education materials. The Communications Clerk also supports the communications team by providing the necessary clerical support.
(CR-05) Assistant, Corporate Services:
The Regional Corporate Services Assistant provides extensive financial services. He/She is responsible, in particular, for analyzing and processing financial transactions, including commitments, contracts, travel requests and reimbursement of travel expenses and accounts payables. He/She is also responsible for managing reservations for the organization's fleet of vehicles and for follow-up on vehicle maintenance.

The intent of this process is to establish a pool of partially qualified candidates for future vacant positions. The pool will be used to staff positions on a permanent (indeterminate) or temporary basis (acting, specified period appointment, assignment, secondment or casual) within the Parole Board of Canada in the Montreal Region. The linguistic profile and tenure may vary depending on the position being staffed.

EXPERIENCE

Experience in providing administrative support services in a client-service oriented work environment;

EDUCATION (CR-04 POSITIONS)
Post-secondary diploma related to the duties of the position, such as office system technology, administration or paralegal studies or other related studies.
EXPERIENCE
CR-04 POSITIONS
Experience in using PowerPoint;
Experience in the field of document and records management such as: filing, opening files, record keeping, document processing, file and/or document retrieval, application of file retention and disposal schedules and file archiving;
Experience in providing administrative support services related to Case Management;
Working experience in a correctional or legal environment.
CR-05 POSITION
Experience using a financial system;
Experience in the use of Shared Travel Services System (STS);
Experience in planning and organizing travel arrangements;
Experience verifying travel claims.
