Throughout the process, you will be required to provide requested information promptly and make yourself available for assessment:

• As this is an external advertised process, informal discussions will not take place or be provided.
Assessments may be conducted in any order and at any phase of the process:
• A variety of evaluation tools, methods and assessment timelines may be used throughout the process, including, but not limited to, standardized tests (ex: EPSI), exams, pre-recorded video interviews, interviews, reviews of past performance and accomplishments, etc.:
• Your first official language (English or French - the official language in which you are generally more proficient) will be assessed.
We may also request the following information in any order, at any phase of the process:
• Security clearance Information, if applicable;
• Proof of education, including Canadian equivalency;
• Second Language Evaluation (SLE) results, if applicable.
All of the information collected during the selection process, including behaviour and communication, from the time of application until the end of the process, may be used to evaluate candidates.
Foreign Education Credentials: Candidates with foreign education credentials are required to provide proof of Canadian equivalency. If you have been educated outside of Canada, it is your responsibility to have your certificates and/or diplomas assessed against Canadian educational standards. Candidates must be prepared to submit electronic proof of a Canadian equivalent education at the time of application. The intent of the process is to establish a pool of qualified candidates who could be appointed to vacant positions in the Communications Branch at Infrastructure Canada. Once INFC has concluded its initial appointments, the pool may be shared with other federal organizations listed in Schedules 1, IV and V of the Financial Administration Act. Qualified candidates could be approached regarding vacant positions in these other federal organizations. These positions could have various tenures, language requirements, linguistic profiles and/or security requirements.
Indeterminate employees at the same group and level, or equivalent, may be considered first for deployment.
Qualified candidates who self-declare as an Indigenous person, a person with a disability, a visible minority and/or as a woman may be selected for appointment first to fulfill organizational Employment Equity needs. In addition, this organizational need may be invoked at any stage of the selection process.

► EDUCATION ◄
All streams
• A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution.
NOTE:
1. Based on their education, training and/or experience, indeterminate incumbents of positions in the IS classification are deemed to meet the minimum education standard whenever a bachelor's degree without specialization is called for in a position classified as IS.
2. At the manager's discretion, an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience, may serve as an alternative to the minimum education standard.
► EXPERIENCE ◄
All streams
• Experience providing communications advice and support to management.
• Experience in liaising with clients (internal or external), partners or stakeholders on communications products, services or initiatives.
► ASSET EXPERIENCE ◄
Stream 1
• Experience in overseeing large, multi-stage projects.
Stream 2
• Experience coordinating and/or conducting in-person video shoots with a senior official or other client.
• Experience in html coding.
