Duties

As Regional Manager, Communications, you lead and coordinate the activities of a regional communications team. Your activities are varied, including the development of communications strategies, internal and external communications, media relations, event organization, intranet management and support for regional priorities. Your opinions and advice are regularly solicited by senior management and internal clients. Intent of the process

As a result of this process, a pool of partially qualified candidates will be established to staff, within the Federal Public Service of Canada, Québec Region, similar or identical positions with various linguistic and security profiles. Persons employed by the federal government of Canada whose substantive group and level are at the above mentioned or equivalent group and level may be considered first.

EDUCATION:
Graduation with a degree from a recognized university.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCES:

- Recent* and significant** experience in developing and implementing communication plans involving a wide range of communication products in support of complex programs, initiatives or projects.

-Recent* and significant** experience in providing strategic advice on communications to senior management.

- Significant** experience in managing communication projects in collaboration with internal and external partners.


* Recent: acquired in the last 5 years
** Significant: experience with complex activities of depth and breadth for a period of at least 3 years
