Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) is looking for regulated health professionals to support on-reserve COVID-19 immunization clinics!
We are looking for: Nurses/ Doctors/ Nurse Practitioners/ Registered Psychiatric Nurses/Registered Practical Nurses/ Licensed Practical Nurses/ Pharmacists/ Paramedics/ Dentists/ Veterinarians/ Medical Laboratory Technicians/ other health professionals who are licensed to practice, including to administer COVID-19 vaccinations, in the following areas:
• Alberta
• Saskatchewan
• Manitoba
• Ontario
• Nova Scotia
• New Brunswick
• Prince Edward Island
• Newfoundland and Labrador
Please note that we are not currently recruiting for positions in Quebec, British Columbia, or the territories.
Travel, including overnight travel for multiple days, to remote/isolated or rural communities may be required. Transportation and accommodation will be organized and paid for by ISC.
To staff COVID-19 immunizers on a casual or casual as and when basis positions for up to 90 working days within a calendar year.
For this position, immunizers would be expected to work multiple (up to seven) consecutive days for the duration of the immunization clinic.

Training and regulated scope to immunize in your jurisdiction of practice.
Recent CPR certification.

Experience
Experience working with Indigenous patients and/or communities.
Experience in vaccination clinics or providing public health immunizations.

Current CPR Certification
Depending on the work location, willingness and ability to travel in small aircraft, off road vehicles and by boat in varied weather conditions to communities in remote and isolated areas
Willingness and ability to work in a rigorous, diverse and often demanding work environment
May be required to be temporarily reassigned to other communities as operationally required
Willingness and ability to perform on call duties, work after hours, and on weekends as required
Medical clearance may be required (if working out of a remote/isolated post)
