Assessment accommodation

OSFI supervises and regulates federally registered banks and insurers, trust and loan companies, as well as private pension plans subject to federal oversight.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
- A degree from a post-secondary institution with specialization in computer science, accounting, management information systems (MIS), business, commerce, economics, mathematics, or in any other field relevant to the work to be performed OR an acceptable combination of relevant professional industry experience and education.

Degree equivalency

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
- Recent* and significant** experience working as a project manager or business analyst.
- Experience leading requirements development sessions and working with the business to define, collect, document and present detailed business requirements.
- Experience leading IM/IT projects in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Experience leading Cloud technology initiatives involving data analytics and case management systems (Such as PowerBI and Dynamics CRM).
- Experience conducting interviews and workshops to map out process flows.

*Recent is defined as relevant experience gained within the last 5 years.
**Significant means the depth and breadth of experience that is normally acquired by performing the tasks over a period of approximately 6 years or more.

OSFI's Ottawa location is downtown with easy access to shopping, restaurants, gyms, financial institutions and more. The building is less than a five minute walk from LRT and STO stops.

As a Separate Agency, the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI) appoints employees in accordance with the Public Service Employment Act (PSEA). OSFI is named in Schedule V of the Financial Administration Act (FAA) and it offers the same pension and benefits plans as the core Federal Public Service. In addition to this, OSFI employees obtain a minimum of 4 weeks of vacation leave per year, earn a competitive salary, and are eligible for an annual performance bonus.
