Intent of the process

The initial intent of this process is to offer one indeterminate position.

A pool of pre-qualified or fully qualified candidates may be created to staff similar or identical positions with various tenure, various linguistic profiles and security
requirements within the Courts Administration Service.

Candidates may be evaluated further, for specific opportunities,on qualifications that are deemed necessary, whether or not these qualifications have been listed on the job advertisement.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Graduation from a recognized post-secondary institution with a master’s degree in library science or in library and information science; or Graduation from a recognized post-secondary institution with a bachelor's degree in library science or in library and information science for which another bachelor's degree was a prerequisite.

Degree equivalency

Experience in the provision of reference and research services in electronic and print form.

Experience in the delivery of library orientation and training sessions.

Experience using new technologies such as web or cloud applications to promote library products and services.

Definition:

Experience is defined as continuous full-time work experience of at least 4 months duration gained during the past 5 years.
