-The successful candidate will assist with research projects/activities under field and laboratory conditions:
-Collecting data and samples for water and climate related work (i.e. water, soil, plant and gas)
-Using monitoring equipment (i.e. weather stations and environmental sensors, etc.)
-Data management and analysis
The work involves field and lab work at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada in Truro, NS as well as on-farm research sites in the Atlantic region.

Currently enrolled in a B.Sc., or willing and eligible to enrol in a M.Sc. program from a recognized academic institution with specialization in environmental science, environmental management, agriculture, earth science, or plant science.
Experience in conducting field work.
Experience taking soil, water, or gas samples.
Experience using spreadsheet and analysis programs such as Excel.
Experience in interpreting and analyzing results.
English essential

Knowledge of on-farm environmental challenges, including but not limited to cropping systems, climate adaptation and water challenges for agricultural producers.
