EDUCATION
A degree from a recognized university in a field related to the position OR an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Incumbents of IS positions who do not possess the formal education prescribed are deemed to meet the university graduation standard based on their education, training and/or experience. They must be accepted as having met the minimum education standard whenever a bachelor's degree without any specialization is called for in a position classified as IS.
EXPERIENCE
Recent* and significant** experience in French-language editing of general or specialized texts (including those of an administrative, financial or legal nature) for various audiences.
Recent* and significant** experience in English-to-French comparative editing of general or specialized texts (including those of an administrative, financial or legal nature) for various audiences.
*Recent experience is defined as experience acquired within the past five years.
**Significant experience is defined as the breadth, depth and complexity of responsibilities normally associated with having performed these duties on a regular basis over a period of three years within the last five years.
