During the pandemic the employee will be required to work both on-site and remotely; after the pandemic, it is assumed that the employee may be required to work primarily on-site.
The intent of this process is to hire one (1) indeterminate employee. A pool of partially qualified candidates may be established from this process to staff AS-03 and equivalent positions within Statistics Canada. This process may be used to staff positions of various tenures, language requirements, security profiles and various work locations.

EDUCATION:
Diploma in occupational health and safety from a recognized post-secondary institution or an acceptable combination of education, training and /or experience of a minimum of 6 months in the field of Operational Health and Safety.
EXPERIENCE:
EXP1. Experience supporting the delivery of occupational health and safety projects.
EXP2. Experience providing advice, guidance or recommendations to a range of clients and management with respect to the application and interpretation of Occupational Health and Safety legislation, policies and guidelines.
EXP3. Experience in conducting workplace inspections or compliance audits.
EXP4. Experience in workplace injuries and accident investigations.
Various language requirements
Bilingual Imperative (BBB/BBB) or (CBC/CBC)

KNOWLEDGE:
K1. Knowledge of the Canada Labour Code Part II
K2. Knowledge of the Canadian Occupational Health & Safety Regulations
