** The position is currently located in Bathurst, N.B., however the duties can be performed from anywhere within "J" Division, New Brunswick.

Testing/interviews will be conducted at locations of the employer's choice and may require candidates to travel to the test/interview location, Bathurst, N.B.
Please note that candidates (including persons employed in the Public Service) will not be considered to be in travel status or on government business and travel costs will not be reimbursed. Consequently, candidates will be responsible for travel costs.
**Over the past several years, the RCMP has built a number of strong relationships with the Nations of the historic ‘Peace and Friendship’ treaties. The RCMP and the Indigenous people of New Brunswick, have collaborated on a multitude of initiatives, and have established a strong, valued relationship. This position will be part of an integrated team, working towards enhancing those relationships and furthering mutual goals.
**Preference will be given to qualified Indigenous candidates who self-identify.
The immediate need is to staff one position on an indeterminate basis.
A pool of qualified candidates may be established to staff temporary and/or permanent positions, (including acting appointments and deployments) and other similar positions.
Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM. Information regarding the CM appointment will be sent to all applicable candidates who are within the area of selection and participated in the advertised process.

• A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives (see Note 1).
1. The employer-approved alternatives to a secondary school diploma are:
o A satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma; or
o An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Candidates who already meet both of the following criteria must be accepted as meeting the secondary school diploma requirement:
a) Candidates who have achieved a satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma; and
b) Candidates who have been appointed or deployed for an indeterminate period to a position in the PM classification.
The opportunity to be assessed by at least one of the two employer-approved alternatives must be offered to candidates who have not previously met the secondary school diploma requirement.
Candidates who were appointed or deployed on an indeterminate basis using an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience meet the secondary school requirement for the PM classification only and must be reassessed for entry to other classifications on the basis of this alternative.
1-*Experience managing a team, including providing direction and leadership to unit staff.
2-*Experience developing comprehensive analytical briefings and reports for external and internal clients, as well as *senior management.
3-*Experience planning and coordinating activities in order to meet objectives.
4-Experience interpreting data from statistical reports and other sources.
5-Experience assessing ongoing client needs and devising and implementing strategies to address those needs.
*Experience is defined by the breadth and depth of experience generally acquired over a period of three (3) years.
*Senior management is defined as Director/Inspector level and above.
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS:
-*Experience in the delivery and coordination of programs.
-*Experience in managing collaborative relationships requiring consultation and engagement of stakeholders.
*Experience is defined by the breadth and depth of experience generally acquired over a period of three (3) years.
