The intent of this process is to staff three (3) positions in Gatineau immediately.
A pool of qualified candidates may be established. This pool may be used to staff identical or similar positions with various language requirements and various security requirements within the Department of Environment and Climate Change Canada across Canada. These positions may be staffed on an indeterminate or temporary basis.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, employees are currently working remotely and may be working from different regions or offices.

Education:
A secondary school diploma
Experience :
1. Experience of at least two years in the analysis, design, development and delivery of learning and training programs.
2. Experience of at least two years in adult learning
3. Experience of at least two years in providing advice and guidance on learning issues and requirements to senior management**
** For the purpose of this process «senior management» is defined as director and above.
ASSETS QUALIFICATIONS:
Hold a degree* from a recognized post-secondary institution in education, linguistics, sociology, psychology, mathematics, physics, home economics, or some other discipline related to the duties of the position.
*For the purpose of this process ”degree” is defined as a baccalaureate or higher level degree.
1. Experience of at least one year in project management.
2. Experience of at least one year in development of e-learning tools.
3. Experience of at least one year in the development and delivery of training products geared to adult learners on one or more of the following subject matters:
· Basic training for enforcement occupations
· Regulatory or highly technical training
· Professional development
· Occupational health and safety

2. Ability to provide strategic advice and direction on policy changes and their impact on learning programs to senior management**.
3. Ability to coordinate human resources activities in line with learning needs

5. Ability to communicate effectively verbally.
