The immediate need is to staff a bilingual Imperative BBB/BBB position for a one year term position. A partially or fully assessed pool may be established to staff similar positions within the Department of Veterans Affairs with various tenures, various linguistic profiles, and/or security clearances.

Education:
ED1 - Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution, or an acceptable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
“Acceptable combination” is defined as two years post-secondary education with an acceptable combination of training, and/or experience relevant to the position to be staffed.
Experience:
EX1 - Experience in interpreting and applying legislation or policies or standards.
EX2 - Experience in the development, implementation and ongoing monitoring of policies, procedures/functional directions or initiatives.
EX3 - Experience in conducting research and analysis, and providing advice to support decision-making on issues to staff and management.
EX4 - Experience collaborating with partners and/or stakeholders.
"Management" is defined as Supervisor and above.
Abilities:
AB1 - Ability to communicate effectively in writing.**

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants should clearly demonstrate on their application if they meet any of the asset
qualifications.
Education:
AED1 - Master's degree in Information Management.
AED2 - Diploma in Information Management from a recognized post-secondary institution.
Experience:
AEX1 - Service as a member of the Canadian Armed Forces.
AEX2 - Experience in supervising multiple staff including assessing the performance of employees.
AEX3 - Experience leading projects.
AEX4 - Experience in the preparation and facilitation of training or information sessions.
AEX5 - Experience in conducting impact and/or risks assessments.
AEX6 - Experience in providing advice and guidance related to Information Management policy or legislation.
AEX7 - Experience in providing advice and guidance related to Access to Information and Privacy policy or legislation.
AEX8 - Certification or experience in Change Management.
AEX9 - Experience in the development and maintenance of strategic plans and supporting documentation.

Operational Requirements:
• Willingness and ability to work overtime on occasion with short notice.
