• You enjoy working hard and with passion, and are committed to getting the job done through sustained effort in the face of adversity.

• You engage people; deliver results and develop well-informed advice and strategies that are sensitive to the various needs.

Any of this sound like you? If yes, submit your application today!

Bring your whole self to work! Everyone is welcome.
The Government of Canada is dedicated to building an inclusive workforce with a diversity of experience, perspectives, and backgrounds that represents Canada now and in the future. We are passionate about fostering a workplace where all people - regardless of race, colour, religion, sex (including gender identity and/or expression), national origin, sexual orientation, civil union or relationship status, disability, age, parental status, military service, or other status protected under federal law - feel welcome, can reach their full potential, and contribute their unique perspectives and experience to the success of the team.

To complete the application, you must:
1. Submit your résumé and 3 references. Your references should be from 2 supervisors and 1 colleague.
2. Answer the pre-screening questions, which are part of the online application process
When answering the pre-screening questions, you must provide concrete and detailed examples to clearly demonstrate when, where, and how you gained the experience needed to meet the level you selected. We’ll only use your résumé as a secondary source of information. If you don’t clearly demonstrate you have the required experience and education, we won’t ask for additional information and you may be screened out.

Please note that your ability to communicate effectively in writing and attention to details will be assessed partly through your application.

Working with colleagues from departments across the GC, you’ll be part of a culture shift in the public service as part of its ongoing digital transformation. You’ll be at the vanguard of an iterative, evidence-based approach to meeting user needs, working in the open and collaborating widely.

The GC is comprised of 38 federal departments and agencies, as well as over 50 smaller organizations such as tribunals and commissions that operate at arm’s length from Parliament. But we all work for one team, the Government of Canada.

Communications is a fast-paced environment. Your work will be challenging! You may be one of a team of 2, 10, 50 or 200 and may be required to be available to support at a moment’s notice or work stand-by on a rotating basis with other team members to ensure somebody is always available after hours and on weekends.
