Currently most of our staff are working remotely in response to the public health guidelines surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. Administrative Clerk
Provides variety of office administrative services delivered to the manager, staff and clients of an assigned organization. Provides administrative and clerical support services to the Real Property Services branch.
Contract Support Coordinator
Provides administrative and contracting support to internal and external clients of Public Services and Procurement Canada.
Human Resources Assistant
Provides administrative* and Human Resources** services to Human Resources Branch, line managers and employees Public Services and Procurement Canada and client departments (External Services). This position is situated in a matrix organization and describes work of a generic nature. As such, incumbents of this position may be subject to various assignments within the Human Resources Branch.
Occupational Safety and Health Assistant
Delivers clerical service pertaining to the Occupational Safety and Health national and regional programs. This service is mainly provided internally to own managers, coordinators and advisors of Ontario Region.
This is an anticipatory selection process. The intent of this process is to establish a pool of qualified candidates. The results of this process may be used to staff identical or similar positions of various tenures and various locations at Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) Ontario Region.

Education:
Completion of secondary education.
Experience:
1. Experience performing administrative OR clerical tasks (such as, but not limited to responding to client enquires, organizing appointments/meetings, filing, bookkeeping, word processing etc.) in a work setting.
2. Experience entering AND retrieving AND verifying data. (Note: You must have done ALL three actions)
3. Experience monitoring requests to providing progress or status update to clients.
Experience:
1. Experience providing Human Resources support. Specify which discipline ie: health and safety, recruitment, learning, payroll, etc.
2. Experience providing record management support such as classifying, coding, indexing, cross-referencing, filing, retrieving, retention, archiving or destroying data.
3. Experience using an electronic information management system.
4. Experience providing contracting support.
5. Experience providing project management support.
6. Experience preparing purchase orders or contracts.
7. Experience performing tasks related to coordinating meetings, training or workshops as such room booking, sending out invitations, tracking of participants or attendees, distributing handouts, etc.
8. Experience coordinating requests on behalf of clients or management.
9. Experience creating reports from data retrieved from various sources.
