Duties

As part of the English Curriculum Section, you will be called upon to promote pedagogy and success by supporting both the teaching personnel and their students.

KEY ACTIVITIES:
• Conduct needs analysis with respect to training.
• Develop, maintain and review programmes and courses, learning evaluation tools as well as multimedia material.
• Design and develop pedagogical materials.
• Ensure the conformity of pedagogical materials.

In regular circumstances, the work is to be performed at the St-Jean Garrison which is located in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC, approximately 30 minutes from Montreal, on the South Shore. You have access to free parking and an affordable cafeteria. In addition, there are sports facilities (swimming pool, gym, various courses).

Intent of the process

This process will be used to staff:
one indeterminate (permanent) position in the French Curriculum Stream; and
one indeterminate (permanent) position in the English Curriculum Stream.
If you wish to be considered for one of these immediate vacancies, you must complete and submit your application NO LATER THAN 14 FEBRUARY 2021.

Meanwhile, a pool of candidates will be established and may be used to staff positions for determinate (casual) periods. This pool could be used to fill similar positions within the Department of National Defense in the Quebec area with various language proficiencies and security profiles.

Degree equivalency

Experience (FRENCH SECTION)

EX2. Experience in the design, development and assessment of pedagogical materials for French language instruction purposes.
