Duties

Our program administrators play an important role in supporting programs that keep Canada’s Agriculture Sector growing. Through the completion of administrative tasks, such as monitoring communication and responding to industry inquiries, our program administrators are on the front lines of program delivery. Individuals appointed will put their diverse skills towards the completion of duties which support the delivery of programs across Canada.

Intent of the process

We will be establishing a pool of qualified candidates in early 2021 and plan to staff positions shortly after. Positions will be staffed on a temporary and permanent basis. We are committed to assessing all applications received prior to January 17th. Applications submitted after January 17th will be considered if additional needs are identified and all applicants will be notified of their status in the process.

For the EDUCATION requirements, we are looking for:
✔ A secondary school diploma or an acceptable* combination of education, training and/or experience.

Acceptable* combination must be related to administrative services and/or program delivery and can be obtained through the private sector, volunteer work, self-employment or other.

Degree equivalency

For the EXPERIENCE requirements, we are looking for experience:
✔ Using word processing and spreadsheet software.
✔ Providing service to clients.

This inventory will be used to staff positions with various linguistic profiles, including English essential, French essential, and bilingual positions. For bilingual positions, we ask that you be able to work in English AND in French (Reading, Writing and Oral proficiency).
