We are looking for individuals to join our Organizational Development team.
As a member of our team, you will have an opportunity to play a key role in providing services to our clients so they can improve access to high quality services for First Nations, Inuit and Métis and continue to renew the nation-to-nation, Inuit-Crown, government-to-government relationship between Canada and First Nations, Inuit and Métis.
As a Human Resources Advisor within the Organizational Development team, your work would consist of developing strategies, designing and delivering training to employees, supervisors and managers, reviewing policies and implementing programs in support of Performance and Talent Management, Learning, Onboarding, and more!
The Western Human Resources Services Center provides human resources services in multiple disciplines to clients in Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia and our virtual team has employees located in Vancouver, Edmonton and Regina. Services are offered in a shared services model for Indigenous Services Canada and for Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada.

At this time, we have 1 vacancy to be filled in the Western Region (Vancouver, Edmonton, or Regina). This pool may be used to staff similar positions within Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada and other federal government departments, with various security levels and employment tenures in various locations.

Your résumé.
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in human resources management, labour or industrial relations, psychology, public or business administration, organizational development, education sciences, social sciences, sociology, or in any other field relevant to the work to be performed.
Significant experience* as a Human Resources Advisor providing advice and guidance to management in one or more of the following Human Resources disciplines (Learning, Human Resources Planning, and Talent Management).
* Significant experience will be assessed in terms of the depth and breadth of activities, as well as the level of autonomy demonstrated with having performed a broad range of complex activities, over a period of approximately 2 to 3 years in the last 5 years.
Various language requirements
Language requirements may vary depending on the location of the position. Positions in Vancouver, Edmonton and Regina are English Essential.
