In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Education
Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

Experience
Experience installing door and frame hardware.

Significant (2 years) experience disassembling and maintaining electrical and mechanical locking devices.

Experience maintaining a master key system.

Experience cutting replacement keys, and changing lock combinations.

Information on language requirements

KNOWLEDGE

Knowledge of the specialized machinery and various tools used in locksmithing.

Knowledge of safe working practices and identifying potential safety hazards.

ABILITIES

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally.
